{Philanthropy: Christmas for Carson}

I can't resist a good cause and this year WGIRLS Inc. is joining forces with our friends, families, and networks, to raise $6,000 to buy Carson, a 6-year old boy who suffers from autism, with a service dog.  In addition to autism, he's suffered from protein allergies almost his whole life too!

{Monograms: Married Stationary}

One small reason I'm looking forward to getting married next year is an excuse to buy new stationary and to get a new monogram!  Silly?  Perhaps, but I march to my own drummer.

Initially I'm drawn to the class lines and the elegant navy of this first one, but then my more whimsical side is in love with the fun raspberry color of the 2nd one.

{Wedding Fever: Asking Your Bridesmaids to be Maids}

So I've been scouring the internet for really interesting ways to ask those very special ladies how to be part of my big day.  A friend of mine received a box of cookies with a letter which I thought was super cute since so many of my ladies don't live close to me.  Then I came across this very inspired idea!  Would love to hear how you'd feel if you received one of these in the mail  :)

For those of you who like the look of unique jewelry, you're already familiar with Etsy.  Found this lovely little store, ChristinaKober, and have fallen in love with so many of her pieces, especially these fortune cookie necklaces.  Super cute, and customizable, you can engrave a fortune for yourself, or a loved one on the back that's anything you want.  Get creative!

{Shopaholic: Gilt-y Addiction}

For all of you online shoppers out there I'm sure you relate to my love of Gilt.  Tonight I received an email for a one of a kind jewelry, which of course snags my email-overloaded brain.  I had to snag myself these two amazing finds and can't wait to put them together with some outfits.  My fashionista brain is already in overload!

I decided to get creative and create a twist on the married monogram.  MES is an avid surfer and we're both hardcore skiers, so to marry our two loves together with our love, I threw this together.  I think we'll put it on our welcome bags.
