{Engagement Shoot FAIL}

I was so excited for my new outfit, my fab makeup done by Sheri, and MES's new shirt to be documented in Central Park for our engagement shots (yes we're closer to our wedding than our engagement at this point, but that's life).  Psyched that I landed a really great deal from LivingSocial for Jessi Shidranski People Photography, I couldn't wait for our engagement shoot in Central Park by all of our favorite haunts.

Then ensues the shit show.  Of course I pick the same day as the Puerto Rican Day Parade and 5th Ave and the east side of the park are shut down.  Needless to say, crazy town in the park!  Jessi was unable to meet with us, ended up canceling our shoot 30 minutes after we were supposed to meet up, and Matt, Sheri and I were left in the park, dolled up and ready to be immortalized being gorgeous.

Upside?  I got a full refund fro LivingSocial and am now on the hunt for an engagement photo in the city who won't be a total flake.

Second upside?  MES and I had our own little photo shoot.
