Do any of you have one and can offer some advice? I felt strongly opposed to getting one a while back because I love the smell of new books and flipping pages. The same adage most steadfast book buyers are sticking to. However, space in Manhattan is always an issue and keeping books is becoming a problem. Additionally, I am a fast reader and am always bringing 2-3 books with me on vacation. That's valuable packing space and a Kindle could help me with that issue.
Issue 1: Can you read them in the sunlight without too much of an issue?
Issue 2: They won't ship until mid-September which is AFTER my trip to OBX.
Issue 3: I've never tried one and am relying on reviews. Is there a Kindle rental place out there?
